FlavorMonks Gin aroma's, one the finest in the World.

After I had the pleasure to taste some Gin aromas of FlavorMonks, Yeah,  I mean Vaping, I was blown away with the natural taste of these aroma's , you could taste the nice herbs in these lovely Gin aromas.

But there was one flavour that I was missing in their Gin line.

Yes, I missed Gin Fizz, a all time big classic Gin cocktail.

I was very happy when FlavorMonks told me that they had released their Gin Fizz aroma.

So without delay I bought me a 10Ml bottle.

Like the most of you know I always mix my liquid with 6 - 8% aroma .
The Base is a High VG, 90 % VG /10 % PG with 2MG Nicotine.
So I mixed the liquid with 8% aroma.

The smell you get from this aroma is very nice and not harsh, I would say it smells very fruity.

The day after the mixing I tried a little bit, yeah, I know,  I have to wait, let it steep for a week, but what would you do, would you wait for a few weeks, didn't think so.

I took my lovely RDA, my old Stumpy,  build  a nice coil with some Kanthal A1 28 AWG wire, came out at 0.46 Ohm, single coil. used some Kläud Cotton, love this cotton, mod at 20W and off I went.
 
Time to taste.

After one day, the smell and taste was already nice, but I had the feeling that  the full flavour wasn't there.
After one week the taste was a little bit better but still no full flavour. Could it be that I need more aroma with my base?
I decided to ad 2% extra aroma to my liquid, now I came out at the recommended 10%.
 
And I had to wait again, not one of my strongest characteristics.
 
So I waited,
 
waited,
 
waited;
 
Damn, couldn't believe that I could wait so long, very proud now, hahaha.
 
And,  was the waiting worth it?
 
Yes,  the waiting was worth it.
Hallelujah, spot on with 10% aroma. Full Flavour,

Well with the inhale and this with DL you can feel the freshness and taste a tiny bit citrus, not much, but it's there.
With MTL the freshness of the fruit is more pronounced.
 

However,  with the exhale, my o my, boy o boy, it's heaven.
You can taste the nice blend of citrus fruits , de citrus fruit blend is not harsh or overwhelming ,it has a little sweet note and the Gin blends in very nice , you can taste a little bit of the Gin but it's not the main layer of this flavour, it's more the second layer.

There is a little throat hit with this aroma, this is what I felt and I find it enough, I appreciate a very soft throat hit , no throat hit is what I like the most.

The Gin in this aroma doesn't have those typical herb flavours  and I like that very much.
This aroma isn't very sour but also not to sweet, it's like a real Gin Fizz.

Love it when a aroma does vape like it smells or taste even better.

Now let me remind you that there are several kinds of Gin Fizz, al are almost the same, most of the time there is only a difference in the Gin, sometimes the added juice is different. So keep in mind that the Gin Fizz taste that you like with your real Gin Fizz  can be different against this aroma.

This a aroma is one of the best when you are looking for a fresh fruity Citrus Gin cocktail.

There is one thing that could be a problem for some , if you open the bottle you will see that this aroma looks like some Fluid chalk and it's not transparent after mixing. This however is normal with this aroma and got a conformation about it.

Now is this a ADV?

It can be a ADV.
For me it is a treat.
I vape it after a nice diner, vape it when I'm in a good mood, vape it on a night out, it's a ideal flavour for those happy moments.

So how much stars does it get on my list.

I don't  do 5 stars ,Yeah I'm different,  I do 7 stars.
 
7 stars = Doesn't get better as this.
6 stars = Excellent
5 stars = Very Good
4 stars = Good
3 stars = Average
2 stars = Acceptable
1 star  =  Well what do you think, yep; just bad.

This aroma scores very high on my list, I do mention that this is how I think about this aroma, it could be that you don't like it or have a other opinion about it.
If you want to try this aroma, you can always order some samples , they contain 1ML aroma, so you can mix up 10ML liquid if you use the recommended 10% for mixing.
I would say, give it a go, don't let  the word "Gin"fool you, it's a different Gin Type then the other Gin Flavours from FlavorMonks.
Even some one that doesn't like Gin will not be disappointed with this aroma.

De review is in het engels omdat ik mijn engels wat moet bijschaven en onderhouden, ook als ondersteuning voor mijn lieftallig vrouwtje dat nu haar 2de jaar Engels volgt. Wou het ook in het nederlands doen, maar dacht één review is genoeg ?

Engels kun je dan beter onderhouden onder Engelstaligen op een redelijk uitgebreid  Engels dampforum lijkt me. Krijg je misschien ook nog nuttige taalkundige terugkoppeling en/of tips.

Nope, daar op de engelse forums eigenlijk veel verkeerd wordt geschreven, bij vaporium, vaping undergound zitten bv. ook amerikanen ( hebben een anders engels) en vele zijn niet van de UK , waar men ook niet steeds het juiste engels gebruikt. ?

Ik zie nog steeds het nut niet van een Engels review op een Nederlands forum.

Ik zou je reviews niet willen missen @Ahtlon :-)
Bij aanhoudend "verzet" zou je (evt.) een topic aanmaken met "Athlon's aroma reviews" met uitleg in de 1e post waarom je in het Engels communiceert, en waarbij je je Engelse bijdragen voorziet van een vertaal linkje, maar hoeft voor mij niet.

 

In de forumreglementen staat niets over een verplichte voertaal (bij §3.2 Omgangsvormen), Nederlands is voor de meeste leden hier wel het meest toegankelijk, maar niet verplicht (tot nu toe).

What in your review would differ, when it would be in US English? :)

Gelukkig wordt hier op t forum altijd wel t juiste engels voor je gebruikt

Als taal smaakt Esperanto mij persoonlijk in ieder geval beter als het Nederlands in de mond. Weet niet of je iets aan het antwoord hebt?

Zeker lekker de Gin Fizz van Flavor Monks heb em gemaakt op 8% is nu al te dampen, denk dat hij nog moet steepen.

Tja...de gin fizz staat bij mij ook te steepen. Eigenlijk moet-ie nog 2 dagen (staat nu een week), misschien dat die 7 sterren er dan voor mij komen :).

 

Ik vind het wel lekker, maar nog geen ADV. 

 

De volgende keer zou ik hem denk ik mixen op VG/PG 70/30, nu heb ik 50/50 gedaan. Ik doe alles zonder nicotine. Vind het erg waterig over komen.

 

En om het plaatje compleet te maken, deze zit in de joyetech evoc basic.

Ik heb Gin tonic van Flavormonks, Die is echt fantastisch, precies de zelfde smaak . (Ik drink al heel lang geen alcohol meer) een welkome verassing voor mij tussen al die gore limonades door.Leuk review bedankt, die ga ik ook bestellen.

Ik vape gin fizz op een istick 80w avocado 24mm single coil.

Heb hem 4 dagen laten rijpen en is op10% gemaakt.

Het grote nadeel van de liquid is dat het echt een coil eter is. Net een nieuwe coil gemaakt en na 15 minuten proef ik iets aangebrands, wat bij mij de smaak doet bederven.

Yep, maar eigenlijk is het copy&paste van de dampforum naar FM website, dat is het voordeel als je het zelf schrijft.

De coil spaced maken helpt, zelf heb ik geen enkel probleem met de gin fizz, of dit met clapton, single wire coil is, maar ik damp meestal tussen de 12 a 25W .
